General information

If you open the project file the first time you may get an error like this:

That's because you haven't installed the font I used for the project. The name of my font is "Helvetica Neue LT Std".
Alternatively you can search at this cool sites for a free font: FontSquirrel or Dafont.

The name of the song is "Inspirational March" by "SoundPanoply" and you can buy it here.

 

Please notice that you only have to edit the Compositions which are in the "_editThis!" - folder:

After Effects will automatically update your changes to the main composition.

To import your logo in the project you just have to make a doubleclick in the project
browser or you can also press "Ctrl+I" ("Apple+I") and browse to your file. Once it's done you can just
select the file in the After Effects browser and drag'n'drop it in the composition.

 

Change the Color Scheme

Keep in mind that this template only allows two different colors (apart from the logo). To edit the Backgroundcolor you need to go to the "Main" - composition and do this:

After this you have to edit the colors of the titles and also of the "Switch" - compositions; You can find them here:

Open the compositions and just do the same like you did with the backgroundlayer:
Press "Ctrl+Shift+Y" and change the color of each layer in "Switch_1/2/3/4".

If you change the color to something darker you can get something like this:

To get rid off the orange ramp you just need to turn of the first layer of the "Main" - composition (which is the "sun_overlay.png")

 

Render

To render your edited template have a look at the "_renderThis!" - folder and select the composition with the resolution you want to have (1920x1080/1280x720). Now you can render this thing with hitting "Ctrl+M" ( "Apple+M" on mac), doing your options (Quicktime JPEG 80% quality to get a pretty good result) and finally hitting render.
